Not at all! This is beyond all common sense. There is no logical and normal answer. So much for the strategic and sustainable development of tourism. According to citizens, the sea is very slow, it stinks, so it is to be assumed that all this is happening precisely because of pollution and the danger of swimming. The last time a red flag was hoisted was in early September last year, due to faecal leaks into the sea. Last week, swimming was also banned on Srebreno beach in Župa dubrovačka, due to fecal contamination. A red flag was raised on the beach in front of the Rixos Libertas Hotel today, warning of a ban on swimming in the sea, reports the portal Dubrovnik.net. How do you explain this to a normal person that in the 21st century we still have a problem with sewage leaking into the sea? And with a couple of decades of tourism and a very good income from it. And still in Dubrovnik, our tourist gem. How to explain to a guest of the Rixos Libertas 5 * hotel that it is not possible to swim in the sea? Disaster. System breakdown. Shame… continue the sequence. But, obviously, the most important thing for the City of Dubrovnik is that Dubrovnik realized its millionth overnight stay five days before last year. It is remembered and entered in the annals of Dubrovnik tourism. Photo: Pexels.com
